Firmware Upgrade Instruction:
- Download
the driver from the web to your PC's hard disk.
- Run and
install the driver - Mustek GSmart 350 Download Firmware V1.10
- If successful,
pull up <Start> menu from Windows 98, go to <Program>,
go to <GSmart 350 Download Firmware>, and select <Download
Firmware>.
- Make sure
USB is properly connected between your PC and GSmart 350.
- Make
sure there is NO CompactFlash (CF) card in the slot of GSmart
350.
- Make sure
GSmart 350 is powered on.
- At this
point, firmware program will display
[ Message] "Connect OK, Press <Download> to
start...
[ DSC Status] will show the current firmware version on
GSmart 350 (e.g., 1.01).
- Click <Download>,
[ Message] will show "Processing...," and the clock will
start elapsing.
- After approximately
40 seconds (depending on your PC configuration and system resources)
- If successful,
[ Message] will show "Complete" and GSmart will power OFF
automatically.
- If want
to re-confirm the firmware download is completed successfully,
power on GSmart 350 again, firmware program's [DSC Status]
field will show the current downloaded version 1.10
- Press <Exit>
when done.
Note:
Please upgrade the firmware via the USB with NO CF card in the slot
of GSmart 350. When the "Download Firmware program" is processing,
do not power off camera or it will damage your camera.
