Mustek Receives Highest Honor

The 2001 National Awards of Excellence held by CETRA (China External Trade Development Council) was given to Mustek, Inc for the BearPaw 1200F scanner. This award is the highest honor granted in the production industry in Taiwan. Mustek Inc.'s BearPaw 1200F received the golden award among 30 other nominated products.

According to Marco Benetto, one of the judges of this year's awards, the panel of judges based their evaluations on the degree of technological improvement, brand awareness, and industrial design shown in product development.

The BearPaw 1200F was chosen for its stylish design, easy human touch interface and super-fast technology. The BearPaw 1200F incorporates complicated software, hardware and network technology and transforms it into an easy end-user product. This technology along with the BearPaw one-click feature (one click to scan, fax, email or copy) swayed the judges favorably in choosing Mustek Inc. the Golden Award Winner.

Although the BearPaw 1200F was mainly developed to meet the needs of the family and SOHO users, judges also found that the sophisticated technology would also serve the professional users. The professional users would find the exceptional value in the included Transparency Adapter and fast speed auto document feeder. The BearPaw 1200F's is a product that allows practicality, convenience and quality.
