Software Application Problems

1. Open ArcSoft MediaImpression2, then select “Pictures”.


2. Select “Import”, and then “Acquire” form the popup menu. 


3. Select your scanner model with a prefix of “WIA from the “Select the device” menu in the Acquire dialog, then press the “Acquire” button.


4. Now you can launch the WIA scanning interface to perform the scanning operation.

1. For Adobe Photoshop CS4, CS5, and CS6 users, please go to following Adobe official website to download the “TWAIN plug-in”. You need to install it before you can use the TWAIN interface.

2. Open Photoshop, select “Import” in the File menu, then select your scanner model.


3. Now you can launch the TWAIN scanning interface to perform the scanning operation.

1. Open Presto! PageManager 9.54, then select “Pictures”.


2. Select your scanner model from the "Select Source" menu in the dialog, then press the "OK" button.


3. Go "Scan Settings" and uncheck "Suppress TWAIN User interface" then press the "OK" button.


4. Press "Acquire Image Data" button.

5. Now you can launch the TWAIN scanning interface to perform the scanning operation.

1. When you use the Image Acquire driver downloaded from the website, it will pop out a security dialog when installing the driver.


2. Open "System Preferences", and select "Security & Privacy".


3. Select the "General" tab, and then click "Open Anyway" to continue installing the Image Acquire.
